Link your user ID to your grant's SoA

Before you begin, you will need to know:

 

 

This information is normally included in the Notice of Award you receive from the granting agency. If your Notice of Award is not available, contact your Business Officer for the information you need to complete this task.

 

  1. From the Form 300 Approval page, select Link Another Grant. The Link Grant to User Account page appears.

  2. On the Link Grant to User Account page, enter the CID (Council Identification Number) or PIN (Personal Identification Number) that was assigned to you when you applied for the grant in the CID/PIN field.

  3. Enter the grant number, as it shown on your Notice of Award or as you have received it from the Business Officer, in the Grant # field. If you are using an NSERC Notice of Award, please read this information about the grant number.

  4. Select the agency that awarded the grant from the Granting agency drop-down list.

  5. Select the year the grant will end from the Year ending drop-down list.

  6. Select Link to complete the process. If the information you entered is correct, the FDSR system will display a success message.

  7. Select Continue to go to the Approve a Form 300 page. You may link additional grants from the Approve a Form 300 page.

 

If the information you entered is incorrect, the FDSR system will display an error message identifying the incorrect information. Correct the errors in order to link your grant.
