Register to use the FDSR system

If you are a new user, you must register to use the FDSR system by creating your researcher account.   

 

  1. On the Login page, select Researcher Account Registration. The Researcher Legal Acceptance page appears.

  2. Read the text that on this page.

  3. If desired, select the available links to visit agency-specific Web sites to obtain additional information on privacy and data protection issues.

  4. If you concur with the stated terms and conditions, select I Accept.

  5. Select Continue. The Account Registration Step 1 page appears.

  6. Select your institution from the Select your institution drop-down list.

  7. If your institution’s Business Officer has not registered on the FDSR system, your institution’s name will not appear in the drop-down list and you will be unable to register.

  1. Complete the required fields.

  1. Select Create to create your account. The Account Registration Step 2 page appears.

 

Make a note of your user ID so you will have it available when you need to access the FDSR system.

  1. Select Continue. The Link Grant to User Account page appears.
